About Us

Liberty House of Albany began it's mission of providing services for victims of domestic violence and their children in 1981. Since that time the organization has grown and the services we have provided have increased as the changing needs of those we serve. As a 501 c3 Nonprofit Organization, our organization relies on grant funding through federal and state grants, as well as donations from local grants, businesses, churches and individuals in order to provide these services. We serve a large 17-county area in Southwest Georgia.
